Throwback Thursday 4/4/2024
I am going to try something new in the coming weeks. I have written almost 200 articles for Medium, and have had varying success. Some of my earlier articles may not have gotten as many views because I was a new writer (admittedly, some may not have been good).
So, I am going to do a Throwback Thursday. Each week, I will feature two articles from the past couple of years. One article will be one that got a decent number of views, but time has passed, and it may be lost in the shuffle. The other article will be one that I thought was good but didn’t get the love I felt it deserved.
The first article was one of the first pieces I wrote for Medium. It tells the story of Fu Hao, an ancient warrior queen from China. It is an entertaining read if you are into Chinese history or lesser-known historical figures.
The next article was one of my more successful, and possibly more controversial articles. It was my first Boosted story, which got a lot of attention. The debate on pseudohistory led to a lively discussion in the comments.
I hope you’ll give these two articles a second chance soon. And keep an eye out for some of my newer content.
